摘要: Research about self-disclosure on social network sites (SNS) is based the assumption that all entered personal information publicly available by default. Literature lacks empirical insights how restrictive default privacy settings influence calculus and SNS. To gain insight we analyzed perception of users regarding benefits costs SNS changes making aware settings. The results our exploratory study using Facebook show significantly perceived benefit relationship maintenance concerns likelihood a violation.
