摘要: Abstract In this work an experimental and kinetic modeling study on n-propanol i-propanol combustion has been performed. New burning velocity measurements were carried out using the heat flux method at 1 atm over temperature range of 323–393 K. Analysis dependence was conducted with to verify data consistency new available from literature. Important inconsistencies identified literature experiments performed spherical flame nature such discussed. Moreover, a mechanism, based most recent Konnov model extended include C3 alcohol isomers chemistry subset, validated against all obtained different regimes. Rate constant parameters carefully selected by evaluating theoretical sources. Sarathy et al. (2014) detailed mechanism also tested. Overall, both models reproduce good fidelity, but presented found superior in representing ignition delay times high-pressure conditions.
