摘要: Although the vast majority of U.S. physicians still handwrite prescriptions, adoption electronic prescribing is slowly growing. Major barriers to remain, including inability electronically submit prescriptions for controlled substances and confusion about standards data exchange. Federal state governments private insurers are using payment policy incentives boost e-prescribing because they believe in its promise improving quality efficiency health care. However, additional efforts further investments needed reap benefits on a national scale.
