摘要: Abstract This paper describes the analysis of an experimental setup for performances evaluation Pulsed Doppler feature in clinical ultrasound scanners. The equipment basically consist on a commercial flow phantom made by straight tube having known and constant cross sectional area which blood mimicking fluid is forced to at laminar conditions. Given accuracy declared manufacturer (±0.7 cm/s), unsatisfactory low rates, we calibrated using gravimetric method. From digitized images spectra over time, mean velocities have been computed with software package developed authors. Moreover, test calibration procedure effective conditions, carried out performance five different platforms, equipped phased array convex probes nominal velocity ranging from 1.1 cm/s 12.7 cm/s. pooled data showed overestimation velocity, 200% down about 50%, depending rate equipment. same data, corrected via curve, sensible recovery estimated tested platforms rates (
