摘要: Effective implementation of the “multiple path” approach to managing green landscapes depends fundamentally on rigorous quantification composition and structure concern at present, modelling landscape trajectories under alternative management paths, monitoring into future confirm whether is having expected effects structure. Indeed, current conditions, anticipation changes these as they occur are three foundational elements adaptive key foundation for multiple path design. In this chapter we review five components analysis. First, discuss importance appropriate models Second, critical issue scale its enormous influences Third, evaluating spatio-temporal context present landscape, several approaches establishing it. Fourth, define meaning metrics, major pattern, describe a number most useful metrics characterizing each component Fifth, linking analysis simulation infer scenarios using trajectory The topics in adapted from much more complete treatment McGarigal et al.
