摘要: Abstract The intertidal zone of the 34 islands that are Boston Harbor Islands national park area encompasses over half total area, thereby representing a significant natural resource. purpose this study was to inventory by classifying and mapping all habitats compiling species lists for major taxonomic groups. Intertidal Classification System developed substrate biotic assemblage types—a system specific local but capable application throughout Gulf Maine. were mapped from GPS-based field delineations.
