Caregiving and Elder Abuse and Neglect—Developing a New Conceptual Perspective

摘要: Although in recent years more prevalence data on elder abuse is available, especially from Europe, there lack of a consistent conceptual paradigm which might help developing unified definitions and understanding the factors related to neglect, domestic settings. The paper attempts develop new perspective understand this phenomenon familial settings, based linkages between paradigms intergenerational family solidarity-conflict ambivalence, stress theories ABCX model coping with situations.
