摘要: Abstract We studied by Auger electron spectroscopy the surface segregation phenomena in two low carbon steels containing titanium or and niobium. The free elements dissolved matrix can segregate to surface; these are phosphorus, sulphur for steel without In addition previous elements, is detected with presence of one its absence other constitutes most important result study relating role different properties steels. Free enthalpies were evaluated each element using Guttmann approach ternary binary systems. clearly revealed kinds interaction between segregated elements. Strong attractive Ti P S produces cosegregation both On hand, there a repulsive C P. This repulsion strengthens site competition phenomenon latter (S P).
