摘要: Thrombophilia may be defined as the tendency to arterial or venous thrombosis. can acquired hereditary. Acquired conditions leading thrombosis are commonly encountered in vascular surgical practice, but less well known is potential influence of genetic factors. In recent years, evidence has accumulated for a crucial role factors pathogenesis thrombosis, many previously unknown defects having been recently identified. The predisposition occlusive disease on other hand unknown, although publications suggest definite link. This have implications surgeon management patients with disease. A medline search was performed order identify papers published between 1990-2002 thrombophilia, and peripheral (PAOD). With regard we obtained much wider knowledge about thrombophilia. altered diagnostic therapeutic approach had an important counselling screening family members, especially females childbearing age. certain thrombophilic disorders pathophysiological role. Hyperhomocysteinaemia, inherited acquired, demonstrated independent risk factor athero-thrombosis. antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APS), condition, also predisposes Other conditions, such prothrombin gene G20210A variant V Leiden, investigated, current does not unequivocally support hypothesis Routine thrombophilia athero-thrombosis therefore generally recommended basis evidence, there selective screening.
