摘要: The rat is a suitable model to study human rotator cuff pathology owing the similarities in morphological anatomy structure. However, few studies have reported composition muscle fiber types of muscles rat. In this study, myosin heavy chain (MyHC) isoforms were stained by immunofluorescence show and distribution It was found that mixed type composition. majority fibers labeled positively for MyHCII. Moreover, contained hybrid fibers. So, compared with composed partly slow-twitch fibers, fast-twitch should be considered when focus on pathological process after injury. Gaining greater insight into may contribute elucidate mechanism change muscles-related diseases. Anat Rec, 299:1397-1401, 2016. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
