摘要: In recent times, satellite-based remote sensing has a growing role in archaeology and inherently the cultural heritage management process. This paper demonstrates potential usefulness of satellite imagery for documentation, mapping, monitoring, in-depth analysis archaeological sites located urban landscapes. The study focuses on assessment monitoring Alba Iulia, which is one Romanian cities with richest historical past. Multitemporal was performed to identify land use/land cover changes that might contribute an increased vulnerability natural disasters. A special emphasis dedicated built-up area growth consequently urbanization trend over large time interval (30 years). Next, expansion impact further analyzed by concentrating heat island within Iulia city Fortress (located center city). As temperature change represents key element climate change, same temporal framework its were determined. end, regard condition assessment, research complemented ground individual building stability, using persistent scatterer interferometry. results detailed depiction site such manner monitored extensive timeframe, current state conservation accurately determined, future trends can be identified. conclusion, present offers reliable regarding main factors endanger as basis preservation measures.
