摘要: Magnesia-supported trimetallic Pt–Ru–Sn catalysts prepared through a cluster and conventional synthetic route have been investigated in terms of their structural properties catalytic activity for the hydrogenation citral. FTIR results indicate that majority stabilizing ligands remain attached to PtRu5(μ-SnPh2)(C)(CO)15 used following impregnation onto MgO support. Under H2 reduction conditions, partial full ligand removal are observed at 473 573 K, respectively. HRSTEM analysis shows cluster-derived samples exhibit significantly smaller average metal particle sizes, as well narrower size distributions than corresponding conventionally ones. EDS measurements show catalysts, particles present nature, with compositions similar those original cluster. In contrast, materials contain mostly bimetallic monometallic...
