摘要: Biological invasions are among the main drivers of biodiversity losses. As threats from biological increase, one most urgent tasks is to identify areas high vulnerability. However, lack comprehensive information on impacts invasive alien species (IAS) a problem especially islands, where recorded extinctions associated with IAS have occurred. Here we provide global, network-oriented analysis islands. Using network analysis, structured 27,081 islands and 437 threatened vertebrates into 21 clusters, based their profiles in term invasiveness shared vulnerabilities. These mainly located Southern Hemisphere many hotspots. Some share similar characteristics regarding connectivity that could be useful for understanding response species. The major invaders found these clusters feral cats, dogs, pigs rats. Our analyses reveal those systematically act alone or combination, pattern species, providing new implement effective eradication strategies. Combined further local, contextual this can contribute global strategies deal IAS.
