摘要: Abstract Background: The incidence of remissions in pemphigus is unclear because these are usually reported at a single point the evolution disease. Thus it uncertain whether treatment simply suppresses manifestations disease and consequently must be continuously administered, or induces complete long-lasting that permit therapy to discontinued. Objective: To answer this question, we investigated remission long-term longitudinal study. Methods: induction (lesion free with no systemic for least 6 months) was studied 40 patients vulgaris treated conventionally followed up an average 7.7 years by same investigator. Results: Five (5%) died Complete were induced 25%, 50%, 75% 2, 5, 10 years, respectively, after diagnosis.
