Spectrophotometric determination of nickel in copper-base alloy with 2-(2-thiazolylazo)-p-cresol.

摘要: Abstract A spectrophotometric method for determination of nickel in copper-base alloy with 2-(2-thiazolylazo)-p-cresol (TAC) is described. The interferences foreign ions can be eliminated by masking a mixture sodium tartrate and thiosulphate. nickel—TAC complex has low solubility water, but soluble aqueous ethanol. Beer's law obeyed 20–70μg 50 ml solution, at pH 5.7. molar absorptivity 580 nm 2.6 × 104l.mole−1.cm−1. been applied successfully to reference samples.
