摘要: Many filter and filterbank design problems can be posed as the optimization of linear or convex quadratic objectives over trigonometric semi-infinite constraints. Recent advances in methodology are based on various matrix inequality (LMI) characterizations constraints, semidefinite programming (SDP) solutions. Despite these advances, filters several hundredth order, which typically arise multicarrier communication signal compression, cannot accommodated. This hurdle is due mainly to large number additional variables incurred LMI characterizations. paper proposes a novel characterization constraints that involves miminal dimensions. Consequently, high-order required practical applications achieved. Examples designs up 1200-tap presented verify viability proposed approach.
