摘要: Abstract The CSIRO 210-ft radio telescope has been used to measure the thermal emission from Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Uranus between wavelenghts of 6 48 cm. No appreciable phase variation was found in 11-cm radiation indicating that there is little temperature difference illuminated dark hemispheres. effective surface at 11 cm 250° 300°K. observations Venus indicate a slight decrease about 600°K centimeter wavelengths 500°K decimeter wavelengths. Little or no change with angle apparent Observations Mars 6, 11, 21 temperatures near 200°K, good agreement infrared measurements. Saturn increase longer wavelengths, reaching nearly 200°K 300°K As evidence for any linear polarization cm, it thought primarily origin observed over value 93°K due higher lower regions Saturn's atmosphere where long-wavelength presumably originates. have an equivalent 130° ± 40°K which, like twice expected solar heating.
