摘要: A recently invented walking traction test method was chosen to measure the coefficient of friction (c.o.f.) thirteen pairs discarded working footwear. Floor surfaces were lubricated with a water-based wetting agent and four grades mineral oil. The footwear also tested on wet dry ice. maximum c.o.f. attained prior each slip recorded whilst forwards again backwards heels. Results for samples ranked in descending order floor lubricant combination, rank orders seven most slippery compared. Kendall's concordance W = 0.73 0.79 backwards; P < 0.001. Rank compared mean orders. Correlation coefficients r, all reached or exceeded 0.92 (P 0.005) rough plastic stainless steel coated 121.4 88.2 cSt oil (at 17.5°C) water glazed white tiles. On ice, r 0.49; 0.05. correlation between forward backward 0.95; 0.005. The 37.7% lower than c.o.f., supporting hypothesis that dangerous slips are likely occur heel strike. There significant roughness soling c.o.f.; 0.01. This measuring is now being applied eliminate long-term aim selecting safest solings specific environments.
