摘要: Ever since the isolation of a non-pancreatic phospholipase A2 (PLA2) from inflammatory exudates rabbits (Forst et al. 1986) and rats (Chang 1987) synovial fluid arthritis patients (Stefanski 1986; Kramer 1989; Seilhamer 1989), group-IIA enzyme has attracted considerable attention as potential drug target due to its role in release arachidonic acid (AA), precursor several pro-inflammatory lipids. Many pharmaceutical companies tried develop inhibitors against this hope developing therapies for diseases. Not surprisingly, much enthusiasm accompanied discovery novel group-V gene (Chen 1994a) that was found cell types previously thought contain only enzyme. These findings have initiated are-evaluation earlier studies had suggested PLA2 is involved AA release; these did not use methods could distinguish between enzymes. After reviewing results studies, we describe system includes human methylotrophic yeast Pichia pastoris; allows preparation cellular studies.
