摘要: Cells of all living organisms contain complex signal transduction networks to ensure that a wide range physiological properties are properly adapted the environmental conditions. The fundamental concepts and individual building blocks these signalling generally well-conserved from yeast man; yet, central role growth factors hormones play in regulation cascades higher eukaryotes is executed by nutrients yeast. Several nutrient-controlled pathways, which regulate cell proliferation, metabolism stress resistance, have been defined These pathways integrated into network, ensures cells enter quiescent, resting phase (G0) survive periods nutrient scarceness they rapidly resume proliferation when conditions become favourable again. A series nutrient-sensory protein kinases perform key roles this network: i.e. Snf1, PKA, Tor1 Tor2, Sch9 Pho85–Pho80. In review, we provide comprehensive overview on current understanding processes mediated via with particular focus how converge ultimately dynamic translation extracellular signals appropriate responses.
