摘要: Purpose To investigate the correlation between stage and histopathological characteristics of patients with lung cancer local recurrence, as well incidence recurrence along possibility surgical retreatment. Methods Studied were 51 locally relapsing cancer, initially treated surgically from 2003 to 2007. The operations performed ranged conservative wedge resections, standard lobectomies pneumonectomies extensive resections entire chest wall. All underwent regular follow-up including thoracic CT scan every 3 months. Results diagnosed after a median 10 months (range 1-30) primary surgery curative intent. There was no statistically significant link type time recurrence. Patients pathological I,II, IIIa had significantly longer than those IIIb IV. Local sites bronchial stump, mediastinal lymph nodes, remaining parenchyma, wall combination these. Surgical retreatment possible in 20 (39.27percnt;). Chest commonest localization (20 51; 39.2%), also most frequent group retreated (13 20; 65%). Squamous cell (SCC) predominant histological (38 74.5%), followed by adenocarcinoma (9 17.7%). Conclusion SCC is cancer. initial procedure didn't have any impact on but extent completeness did. heavily depended tumor stage. relapse site, suitable for retreatment, which related quality surgery.
