摘要: Abstract The complexity of port terminal operations and intermodal transshipments has pushed the introduction information communication technologies (ICT) to assist multiple stakeholders involved in decision-making processes. More recently development systems based on Internet Things (IoT) represents a further step automation data acquisition processing. We present here an IoT system designed optimize, manage monitor container transport along corridor, combining rail scheduling inland vessel navigation. modular design, enabling interaction with external systems, independently their nature, through cloud-based FIWARE platform. provide description three inter-related subsystems (container tracking, management navigation), expected supply chain benefits derived from implementation system, both terms shippers integration logistics flow. This is currently operative at Port Seville, main transshipment node Madrid – Seville Canary Islands corridor Spain.
