摘要: The main objective of this work was to evaluate the potential Montmorillonite nanoclay (Mt), readily and inexpensively available, for simultaneous adsorption (and removal) two classes pollutants: metal ions dyes. attention focused on “model” Ce(III) crystal violet (CV). choice is due fact that they are widespread in wastewaters various origins. These characteristics, together with their effect human health, make them ideal studies water remediation. Moreover, when separated from wastewater, can be recycled individually industrial production no or simple treatment. Clay/pollutant hybrids were prepared under different pH conditions characterized through construction isotherms powder X-ray diffraction. behavior contaminants revealed significantly different: Langmuir model reproduces isotherm better, thus indicating clay offers a unique site ions, while Freundlich proved most reliable uptake CV which implies heterogeneity sites. do not adsorb at all acidic conditions, whereas dye able investigated conditions. possibility modulate features by simply changing successfully employed develop an efficient protocol removal separation components aqueous solutions mimicking wastewaters.
