摘要: We describe the main architecture and design principles of Service/Resource Discovery System (SRDS), a component XtreemOS Operating System. is Linux extension that enables management exploitation as single platform computational resources provided by federated Virtual Organizations. The SRDS provides scalable fault-tolerant directory services supporting many functionalities, ranging from dynamic resource location job control to system application-oriented services. key challenge provide common metaphor service, meeting scalability requirements Grid-aware system, at same time enjoy extendability configurability, especially with respect quality service provided. combines different peer structured overlay networks, exploiting their peculiar strengths. implementation our namespace abstraction implemented on top multiple networks. Finally, we show test results subset Grid5000 platform.
