摘要: We propose a technological framework based on the combination of Internet Things (IoT) and Blockchains aiming at incentivizing rewarding more sustainable water management practices in agriculture. In this context, current IoT-based precision agriculture deployments prefer energy efficiency, which generally translates into power-and-resource-constrained sensing devices. For reason, often, system integrators sector feel need to interpose third-party hardware intermediaries (e.g., IoT gateways) between devices blockchain endpoints, so augmenting infrastructural costs reducing trustworthiness data acquired from field. paper, we present software architecture specifically designed for trustless where constrained can directly transact sensed public network. deploy proposed solution off-the-shelf undertake thorough benchmarking terms memory, program size, communication overheads power consumption. Our results show that, general, typical be used interact with blockchain, without severe burden. More specifically, these only incur an additional 6% consumed their interactions gateway.
