摘要: Hevamine is a chitinase from the rubber tree Hevea brasiliensis and belongs to family 18 glycosyl hydrolases. This paper describes cloning of hevamine DNA cDNA sequences. contains signal peptide at N-terminus putative vacuolar targeting sequence C-terminus which are not present in mature protein. The gene encoding no introns. Southern hybridization with full-length probe showed that there multiple copies genes or homologues genome. In lutoid body (vacuolar) fraction latex only three components were detected very similar primary structures, probably products one single locus on
