摘要: Abstract Core-shell (CS) nanocomposite particles with 53.4 wt% cross-linked poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) shell of 11.6 nm in thickness were fabricated via miniemulsion polymerization methyl methacrylate the presence modified nanosilica. The influence nanosilica and CS nanoparticles on glass transition segmental dynamics PMMA nanocomposites prepared solution casting was compared. remarkable depression (≥10 °C) temperature ( T g ) induced by incorporation SiO 2 both observed at low loadings. Here, different mechanisms responsible for effect acceleration matrix. formation rigid amorphous fraction (RAF) layer around 16.4 nm led to adjacent molecular packing frustration, while “lubrication” nonwetting interface between grafted crosslinked chains matrix resulted reduction dynamic fragility.
