Highly directive radiation from sources embedded inside photonic crystals

摘要: In this work, we have experimentally and theoretically studied the angular distribution of power emitted from a radiation source embedded inside photonic crystal. Our results show that it is possible to obtain highly directive sources operating at band edge Half beam widths as small 6° been obtained. also strongly depends on frequency size
