Measurement of Λ and Λ̄ particles in Au + Au collisions at √sNN = 130 GeV

摘要: We present results on the measurement of Lambda and (U) over bar production in Au+Au collisions at roots(NN)=130 GeV with PHENIX detector Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The transverse momentum spectra were measured for minimum bias 5% most central events. bar/Lambda ratios are constant as a function p(T) number participants. net density is significantly larger than predicted by models based hadronic strings (e.g., HIJING) but approximate agreement which include gluon-junction mechanism.
