摘要: Sulfur (S) is an essential plant macronutrient and the pivotal role of sulfur compounds in disease resistance has become obvious recent decades. This review attempts to recapitulate results on various functions sulfur-containing defense (SDCs) responses pathogens. These include containing amino acids such as cysteine methionine, tripeptide glutathione, thionins defensins, glucosinolates phytoalexins and, last but not least, reactive species hydrogen sulfide. SDCs play versatile roles both pathogen perception initiating signal transduction pathways that are interconnected with processes regulated by hormones (salicylic acid, jasmonic acid ethylene) oxygen (ROS). Importantly, ROS-mediated reversible oxidation residues proteins have profound effects protein like during infections. Indeed, multifaceted initiated should provide novel tools for breeding endow crops efficient invading
