摘要: Summary Embryogenic cell suspensions were established from callus cultures initiated sections of young leaf tissues Saccharum officinarum L. (sugarcane). Protoplasts isolated the cultured in modified KM or CSK media supplemented with 50 ml coconut milk, 500 mg casein hydrolysate, 1 2,4-D and 0.5 BA (per litre). Cell wall regeneration, sustained divisions colony formation observed same culture medium. Dimethyl sulfoxide (1 %) promoted formation. Somatic embryos produced upon transfer protocolonies to agar-based MS medium plus % activated charcoal 0.25 – · −1 2,4-D, without cytokinins. The germinated several roots a coleoptile. When placed on containing ·1 each fluridone, some grew into plantlets green leaves. Several plants grown successfully soil.
