摘要: High dose-rate brachytherapy is a method of radiation cancer treatment, where the source placed inside body. The recommended way to evaluate dose plans based on dosimetric indices which are aggregate measures received dose. Insufficient spatial distribution may however result in hot spots, contiguous volumes tumour that receive much too high. We use mathematical optimization adjust plan acceptable with respect also take into account. This results large-scale nonlinear mixed-binary models solved using approximations. show there substantial degrees freedom planning even though levels maintained, and it possible improve its properties.
