摘要: The accumulation of windblown sand creates dunes which are one nature’s most dynamics and intriguing phenomena. Sand found in climates the world as coastal some arid regions. Grains between 0.062 2.0mm diameter not cohesive therefore easily carried by wind. Paradoxically, finer grains silt clay (< 0.050mm) can resist wind erosion. This property is reflected threshold speed curve for transport (Fig. 17.1) explaining why dune sand, cases, composed fine particles 0.125—0.250 mm.
