摘要: The array invariant technique has been recently proposed for passive source localization in the ocean. It successfully estimated source–receiver horizontal range multipath-dominant shallow-water waveguides. However, it requires a relatively large-scale hydrophone array. This study proposes an method that uses acoustic intensity, which is vector quantity same direction as sound wave propagating through water medium. can be used to estimate not only range, but also azimuth source. feasibility of using examined simulation and experiment particle velocity signals are obtained finite difference approximation pressure at two adjacent points. results intensity compared with those from beamforming acquired by vertical line
