摘要: A spontaneously developed wheat-barley 4H(4D) disomic substitution line was identified cytogenetically using genomic in situ hybridization (GISH), multicolour fluorescent (FISH) and microsatellite markers. The ability of the barley 4H chromosome to compensate for wheat 4D response mild drought stress also investigated. In cv. 'Betzes' line, osmotic induced intensive stomatal closure, resulting reduced water loss through transpiration unchanged relative content leaves. As CO 2 assimilation rate remained relatively high, use efficiency, which is an important factor associated with tolerance, increased extensively under these lines. case parental genotypes, however, less intense closure a greater decrease than or unaugmented efficiency. results demonstrate that genes localised on were able increase efficiency suitable improving tolerance intergeneric crossing.
