摘要: Abstract The high-temperature oxidation behavior of bare and SiC-coated carbon fiber-reinforced matrix (C/C) composites was examined in the temperature range 900–3000 K. In course measurements, main focus placed upon effect oxygen partial pressure on transition between passive active regimes. To understand C/C quantitatively, a morphological characterization coating cracks carried out, then, diffusion controlling range, an analytical model developed for prediction weight loss due to composites. rates derived from this were fairly good agreement with experiment results.
