摘要: Background: Pulse wave velocity (PWV) is widely used for estimating the stiffness of an artery. V arious invasive and non-invasive methods have been developed to determine PWV over years. In present research , estimation large arteries was as index arterial stiffness. Methods: A dynamic model based on Navier-Stokes equations coupled elasticity introduced in with elastic walls. This system completed by clinical information obtained from Doppler ultrasound images carotid artery 40 healthy male volunteers. For this purpose, were recorded saved a computer; subsequently center-line blood velocity, wall thickness, radius measured offline processing. Results: The results analytic solution showed that mean value group volunteers 2.35 m/s when neutral 5.00 end-diastole radius. It noteworthy latter closely complies reported other researchers. Conclusion: By applying method, local evaluation common via measurement will be possible.
