Analysis of thickness‐profiled gratings for oblique incidence using approximate modeling by plane gratings with surface resistance

摘要: [1] In this paper, we demonstrate that thickness-profiled metallic gratings placed in a conical mounting can be approximated by plane grating with surface resistance as function of the position parameter. As for method analysis gratings, apply multilayered step method, which region is partitioned into set stratified layers having rectangular-profiled and flux densities expansion approach. thickness zero, spectral Galerkin based on mixed form current expansions spatial domains applied to resistive boundary condition. Both methods are formulated three-dimensional scattering problem linearly circularly polarized incidence. From comparison numerical results oblique incidence, limit investigated.
