Distribution and behavior of lead in the K-alkaline rocks from the Roccamonfina Volcano (southern Italy)

摘要: Abstract The Pb content in whole rocks, matrix and mineral separates (sanidine, leucite, biotite phlogopite) from 53 igneous rocks of the K-alkaline suites Roccamonfina Volcano, has been measured by means polarographic technique. An increase is observed with magmatic differentiation, indicating that behaves as a magmatophile element these magma suites. Moreover, enriched factor ∼1.7 primitive high-K series compared K-series, this respect, similar to K other LIL elements. Sanidine ( x = 44.7 ± 16.9 ppm ) ∼10 times relative both leucite 3.6 1.9 5.3 3.1 ), good agreement different coordination numbers structures minerals. Average D san , leuc biot are 0.48, 0.05, 0.14, respectively. Primitive basalt have much higher (alkali olivine basalts trachybasalts, 16.3 ; basalts, 9.7 than “average” alkali 4.3 close crust 12 ). display high 28.4 those several granitic rocks. Plots vs. incompatible elements (ratio ratio) suggest HKS KS parental magmas could be derived mixing between normal mantle material LIL-enriched material.
