摘要: Abstract The ability of Penicillium sp. and Trichoderma viride to retard the decay obeche (Triplochiton scleroxylon) wood in field for 11 months (January–November) covering dry wet seasons a tropical environment was investigated using ‘graveyard’ method. Inoculation stakes with Gloeophyllum or G. sepiarium (decay fungi) 24 h after treatment T. January (dry season) did not increase months. Total inhibition fungi indicated since low weight losses markedly different from control biologically treated but exposed fungi. Inhibition activities other unidentified also because were greater uninoculated untreated stakes. However, occurred later May, season. A repeat application earlier January, reduced following exposure September (wet season). similar as effective unlike protected stakes, twice results indicate that repeated biocontrol agents may be important controlling adverse effect
