摘要: Abstract In water-in-oil microemulsions the aqueous sub-phase is present as a monodispersion of spherical droplets. A theoretical treatment (C. Oldfield (1990) Biochem. J 247 15–22 and (1991) J. Chem. Soc. Faraday Trans I 87 2607–2612) shows how rates enzyme-catalysed reactions involving water-soluble substrates can be expected to depend on droplet size concentration rate exchange solutes between this article theory briefly restated, with examples experimental systems which behave predicted by theory.
