摘要: The initial stage of solidification for continuous casting is very important in optimising the surface quality steel. It well known that hypo-peritectic steel has problems with longitudinal cracking due to shrinkage resulting from δ→γ transformation. High speed casting, a range 4-5 m/min, suffers same problem. For round-shaped billet caster, shape mold cross section at disadvantage regard cracking. In this study, mild cooling powders were developed order improve high slabs and round-billets. results can be summarized as follows; 1) CaO/SiO2 ratio powder temperature most suitable slab caster. 2) Low round 3) effect radiation liquid film bigger than solid film.
