Suppression of superfluidity of 3He in cylindrical channels.

摘要: We have measured the suppression of superfluidity liquid /sup 3/He in small cylindrical pores. The is smaller than calculated by recent theories, and indicates that a dissipative state intervenes before true superflow through pores commences. critical currents are two orders magnitude lower those bulk, do not show same power-law behavior.
