摘要: Abstract Ligands containing the bis(imidazol-2-yl) moiety form very stable bis(ligand) [CuH x L 2 ] ( = 0–4) copper(II) complexes, with coordination of four imidazole nitrogens. Moreover, in presence excess metal ion, a trinuclear species an imidazolato bridge is formed case some amino- and peptide derivatives group (e.g. His-BIMA). The mode ion these complexes could mimic binding active centre CuZnSOD enzyme. In order to reinforce assumptions, electrochemical SOD activity studies three simple ligands (BIM, BIMA BIP) five amino acid (Z-Gly-BIMA, Z-Ala-BIMA, Gly-BIMA, β-Ala-BIMA His-BIMA) were carried out. measured redox potential values characterizing = 0–2) derivatives, where bound through nitrogens, are around 0 V, linear trend can be observed between formal logarithmic value stability constants. It was not possible determine parameters polynuclear complex His-BIMA. measurements show that relative coordinated so high, agreement their stabilities potentials. bridged [Cu 3 H −4 His-BIMA is, however, higher than ones published literature.
