摘要: Delta-opioid receptor (DOR)-mediated modulation of hippocampal neural networks is involved in emotions, cognition, and pathophysiology treatment mood disorders. In this study, we examined the effects DOR agonist (SNC80) antagonist (naltrindole) on excitability individual neurons. Primary neuronal cultures were prepared from hippocampi newborn rats cultivated vitro for 8–14 days (DIV8-14). The SNC80 naltrindole evoked spontaneous action potentials (APs) measured at DIV8-9 DIV13-14, respectively. (100 µM) potentiated AP firing stimulated sodium current; had opposite effects. stimulatory effect 100 µM was revoked by pre-administration 1 µM naltrindole. induced similar inhibitory calcium current. Further, inhibited both peak sustained potassium currents.
