摘要: A Cepheid-based calibration is derived for four distance indicators that utilize stars in old stellar populations: the tip of red giant branch (TRGB), planetary nebula luminosity function (PNLF), globular cluster (GCLF), and surface brightness fluctuation method (SBF). The largely based on Cepheid distances to 18 spiral galaxies within cz = 1500 km s-1 obtained as part Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Key Project Extragalactic Distance Scale, but relies also from separate HST ground-based efforts. newly SBF applied obtain Abell clusters velocity range 3800-5000 s-1. Combined with velocities corrected a cosmological flow model, these imply value constant H0 69 ? 4 (random) 6 (systematic) Mpc-1. This result assumes PL relation independent metallicity variable stars; adopting correction Kennicutt et al. would produce 5% 3% decrease H0. Finally, allows us investigate systematics Cepheid, PNLF, SBF, GCLF, TRGB scales.
