摘要: Impaired skin integrity is one of the most common and costly problems facing institutionalized elderly. Risk assessment tools provide nurse with an efficient systematic means identifying those clients at high risk for pressure ulcer development. Pressure are usually based on a combination following variables: mobility, continence, mental status, activity, nutrition, or physical status. Further testing comparison various in elderly population needed to establish relative scientific practical merit.
