摘要: Summary River restoration is a key-issue for European hydrosystems that were modified over centuries by human activities. This particularly true numerous low energy rivers flowing in the plateaus of Western Europe. Because this limited energy, their potential terms autogenic priori appears strongly restricted. study examines conditions under which morphogenesis on one these systems occurs relation to various hydrologic conditions. Two complementary approaches are combined three reaches meandering Cher (France). Firstly, we examine at pluri-decadal scale control duration, frequency and intensity floods planimetric erosion (bank retreat mainly). Secondly, estimate range effective discharge bedload transport. The results show controlled magnitude hydrological events. major controlling factors suggested: differential between small large floods, peculiar mid-latitude, critical discharges lateral mobilization. For reasons, ability alluvial self-restore its fluvial dynamics seems be relatively high.
