摘要: A Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) program has been initiated in the North Bosque River Watershed Texas, USA, where point and nonpoint sources of pollution are a concern. The Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT), which had validated for flow sediment nutrient transport, was applied to quantify effects Best Management Practices (BMPs) related dairy manure management municipal wastewater treatment plant effluent. Results are presented period from 1960 through 1998 three sites along River. presented as annual time–weighted concentrations (average daily load divided by over year) annual flow–weighted concentrations (total cumulative total year). BMPs resulted greater improvement time–weighted instream soluble phosphorus than BMPs. On other hand, BMPs made differences flow–weighted concentrations. This study showed that SWAT could be useful tool studying alternative scenarios control large watersheds.
