摘要: In this paper, we proposed a novel passive micromixer to provide effective mixing performance even at very low Reynolds number (Re). The consists of trapezoidal channels that facilitate the between top-fluid and bottom-fluid. addition, zigzag arrangement creates transversal flows, thus enhancing in direction. also high distortion fluid streams based on chaotic advection, producing efficiency. We conducted numerical study evaluate our using COMSOL Multiphysics Finite Element Method. simulation results indicated has efficiency over 81% for an entire range from 0.1 80. A 90% was achieved when Re ≤ 0.9 ≥ 20. When operating with = 20, are 4.07 5.58 times higher than those 3-split rhombic T-shaped micromixer. Furthermore, small footprint, which is advantageous integrate into various microfluidic systems.
